What a quaint, honestly Italian delight!! These ladies do it all right there. Authentic and delicious exactly what you would expect from a true Italian sweet shop. The truly appreciate your business and treat you as if you are one if the family. But, the main question is how are the desserts and the answer is awesome.

Great home made cookies. I will definitely be going back here for more cookies and cannolis.

On my 1st visit I had the tiramisu, very nice. On my return trip i asked for 4 cookies to go. They were $.60 each and had asked the lady behind the counter to pick out her 4 favorites. I had a sugar coated chocolate cookie, a sugar cookie, a biscotti and Nutella cookie - Oh my! The Nutella was layered beween 2 cookie crisps that made the most perfect cookie treat I've ever had. The shop is ran by some of the sweetest - pun intended - ladies. Each time I've been in I left with a smile or a good chuckle. Great people. Great product.

Finally an Italian bakery in Kansas City..holy cannoli! Things we love about the place, the ladies are extremely nice, the sugar cookies are fantastic, and my daughter said the biscotti cookie "is the best thing ever..ever". Another nice point is they are open on Saturday and Sundays.

This place brings "authentic" to a whole new level. I am an unabashed fanatic of Italian cookies, and these ladies' work is second to none. (Hey, if they can compete with my grandma's Italian cookies, that's really saying something.) The three sisters are very friendly and helpful, too. Also noteworthy is that you can buy less than a pound if you want, making it possible to try several different kinds of cookies in one trip. Definitely worth the trip to LaBruzzo's, even if you have to make your way down here from the 'burbs.

I had only one thing, but it was fantastic: the kolachies. And really, I had several of this one thing because they're so good. I got five or six for around $2.60, too, which wasn't a bad deal.
